General Membership Guidelines

All memberships require the following:
  • Membership in the National Rifle Association of America (NRA) is required as a condition of membership in CSF. This is an ongoing requirement which is checked annually.

General Rules

  • Each member shall be responsible for observing all general and safety regulations
  • concerning the use of the facilities. Each member shall be responsible for all actions of their
    guests.
  • Each member shall be responsible for leaving the facilities in a clean and tidy
    manner after each use.
  • All members are required to provide eight (8) hours of service to the club each year.
  • A full set of club rules are listed in two documents. The first is our Bylaws and Operating Procedures. The second is our Range standard Operating Procedures document. Both documents are provided during new member orientation and are available to members on our website.

Guests

  • All guests on CSF facilities must be accompanied by a member. 
  • A CSF member and his/her guest shall not monopolize any CSF facility. 
  • Scheduled CSF activities which are open to the public or any authorized organization shall be exempt from these requirements.

Keys


  • New Members MUST attend an orientation session before receiving keys.
  • Spouses MUST attend an orientation session before receiving keys. The key fee for a spouse is $10.
  • No member shall loan a CSF key to a family member or any non-member.
  • Duplication of any CSF key is not permitted. Violation of this regulation shall result in confiscation of the key and disciplinary
     action taken against the offender in accordance with Article X of CSF bylaws.
  • Lost keys - A fee of $10.00 plus tax will be charged for any key which is not returned or is lost, and no other key may be issued until this fee is paid.
  • Contact the membership help desk if you have lost your key or if it is not working. 


Communication

  • Members may elect to receive CSF related communications via electronic means (email). 
  • It is very important that you keep your information up to date so that the club can reach you or your spouse in the event of an emergency or for club related news and information.

Rule Violations

  • Expulsions and suspensions are covered in the Bylaws.
  • Generally, the CSF Board will discuss all rule and policy violations.

Renewals/Dues

    The Cascade Shooting Facilities membership year ends on April 30th each year and renewals begin every year in April. All members will receive a renewal invoice either by email or if an email address is unavailable, by US Mail, which includes their annual dues and any unsatisfied work assessment fees. Please contact the membership help desk right away using the help page if your mailing address has changed.

    Payment for membership renewals and/or work assessment fees is due every year on the first Monday in May. However, payments are not considered late until the beginning of the General Membership Meeting on the first Monday in June. All payments received after the beginning of the June General Membership Meeting are considered late and will not be accepted. If your payment is late, you will be dropped from the club and it will be necessary to reapply following the application process outlined above. Please make plans to pay your membership fees early.

    • The board, membership chair, orientation chair positions are exempt from dues and work assessments as they put in many hours during the course of their position.
    • After serving as a board members or committee chairs, each drop back to their normal status as annual, life, retired, etc.

    Waitlist

    • Waitlist Substitutions: In order for a wait list substitution, both wait-listed members must attend a general club meeting and must make a motion for an exception. The club membership will vote to grant or deny the exception. 
    • The CSF Board may also approve waitlist exceptions.
    • Agency members are exempt from the waitlist
