CSF New Member Orientation

IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ON OUR WAITLIST, DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS ORIENTATION. YOU MUST RECEIVE AN INVITATION TO JOIN CSF IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT.

During the orientation session, the following topics will be covered:

• Review the CSF Bylaws
• Review the Range Standard Operating Procedures (RSOPs)
• Discuss CSF programs and opportunities for involvement
• Discuss annual volunteer requirements
• Tour the clubhouse, indoor range, outdoor range and other facilities
• Collect annual membership fees for 2017
• Verify accurate contact information
• Distribute access keys and membership name badges
• Answer any questions you may have

Important:

1. You and/or your spouse will be required to attend the entire orientation session in order to become a member(s).
2. Payment is required at or before the time of orientation. You may pay early online using a credit card. Forms of acceptable payment in person include check or money order. Please make your check or money order payable to Cascade Shooting Facilities.
3. Cascade Shooting Facilities is a family oriented establishment. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your spouse or significant other with you to orientation. If your spouse or significant other would like a badge and key set of their own, we request that you indicate this during your membership application. There is an additional fee of $10.00 plus tax ($10.86) for the second key set that will be collected when you pay for your membership. Your spouse or significant other must attend the orientation in order to have their own badge and key set.
4. Please arrive one hour early in order to complete the registration process. This invitation is being sent to a large number of people on the waiting list. In order to start the orientation session on time, we will need all new members to arrive early and be patient as we register all the new members and collect membership fees. Registration closes 5 minutes before the start time and applicants who arrive late for orientation will not be permitted to complete this orientation, but may attend the next orientation.
5. The club proudly supports the National Rifle Association and active NRA membership is a requirement for all CSF members. You must be an active member at the time of the orientation. Please bring your NRA membership card, number, or current NRA magazine with you to verify your NRA status.
6. The orientation lasts approximately three hours and will be held both indoors and outdoors. As mentioned above, the registration and orientation will begin at the clubhouse/indoor range. Part way through the orientation, we will drive to the outdoor range. Walking between ranges will be required at the outdoor range. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for walking and standing for long periods of time. Those who have a difficult time standing for long periods of time may want to bring a portable chair. There are restroom facilities at both the clubhouse and outdoor ranges.

7. Please make every effort to attend the earliest orientation possible. If for some reason you cannot attend the orientation session, please email the membership chair as soon as possible. Those who cannot make any of the orientation sessions may be placed back on the waiting list, but may be required to wait until next year to join.

Location:

• The registration and orientation will be held at the clubhouse/indoor range on 27036 SE Ravensdale Way.
• Please park in the gravel lot on the west side of the clubhouse.
